Trina's life is taking a nose dive. It is Christmas and she is lonely. Plus, to cap it all off, her impending divorce is dampening her spirits. Walt was the love of her life. He was her first and only and she was the same for Walt. Until last year, a few days before Christmas changed everything and now things are not the same. Her heart broke when Walt destroyed their relationship and there is nothing that she can do. She will never forgive him. Ever!
Walt was pacing the living room of that same damn house that ruined everything...where everything was ruined because of him making one stupid mistake. And that mistake cost him his wife. He will do anything to have her back. Anything at all, she just has to give him another chance and he is sure that he will make her believe in him once again.
Mishael Austin Witty's Believe In Me is a wonderful novel that rekindles the Christmas feeling. The urge to forgive and forget is amazingly portrayed in this novel. The story is short but it is well developed and you can just feel Mishael Austin Witty putting her one hundred percent into the story. The characters of Walt and Trina are just perfect and endearing. When every writer is trying to make their male hero broken and twisted, Mishael shows that a healthy and whole male protagonist can be just as strong and driving. I just loved it!
