Hi! I’m Naomi and I’m so glad that you’ve stopped by to learn a little bit about me! I am a Houston, TX native and I have a strong passion for helping others. I’ve gone from a full-time actress/model to an author and President of this non-profit organization, You Are My Sister Incorporated. The idea to start my organization came after my family went through a series of unfortunate events. My grandfather had just had major surgery, my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer for the second time, and my other grandmother is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. My acting career had to be put on hold so that I could assist in the care of my family. That’s when it hit me! Yes, I love acting and modeling but I wasn’t sure if it was my true calling. All of a sudden, a light bulb went off and my purpose became clear. That’s when You Are My Sister Inc. was born. We aim at empowering women and telling it like it is!
We have grown so much in just a short period of time and I am excited to announce that I have four books for sale on Amazon and Kindle! “A Collection of Inspirational Thoughts ” is a lightweight, convenient collection of my most inspirational topics. This would be a great keepsake for anyone! It provides instant inspiration on the go whenever you need a little push. “Dangerous Love” is a suspenseful, dramatic love story that will leave you in awe! “Haiku Poetry For The Soul,” is my personal collection of Haiku poems that focus on a wide variety of topics. Although simple in nature, each poem has a deep meaning that I hope you’ll relate to. Caden and Awesome World is a thrilling adventure story of a curious little boy who finds himself in a magical land with creatures beyond his wildest imagination. This particular book is designed to help stimulate the minds and imaginations of children. The cover is bright and vivid and will spark the interest of any child. There are no illustrations, however, on the interior because the story is so compelling that any child would be able to imagine “Awesome World” in his/her own way by letting their imaginations do the work. This is what sets this book apart from any other children’s literature! I am so proud of all four bodies of work and I thank you in advance for your continued support. I want to go to Awesome Land like Caden did in Caden and Awesome World by Naomi Melton. In just 24 pages, Caden meets a three-headed dragon, a gopher wearing glasses, a rickety wooden bridge over crocodiles swimming in water and much, much more. Too adventurous for his own good and bored with everything he's explored around his home, Caden decides to venture into the forest where he finds a mysterious hole with a glowing light in a tree trunk. Naturally, he decides to look inside and, because of that, he falls down a deep hole into the magical land known as Awesome World. Of course Caden wants to go back home at some point, but he also wants to be able to return to Awesome Land whenever he wants adventure, so his new dragon friends help him find a special stone that will transport him back and forth between the two worlds.
Like I said, I want to go to Awesome Land like Caden did in Caden and Awesome World by Naomi Melton. It sounds like so much fun and well ... awesome! With a nicely and colorfully illustrated book cover, Caden and Awesome World by Naomi Melton is full of vivid imagination and fun for young readers. I liked how many different types of adventures Caden got into in this right-sized book for children. Caden and Awesome World by Naomi Melton is one of those books that kids will want to read over and over again and create their own adventures.
