Cats' Eyes (Crazy Cat Lady Mysteries Book 1) by Mollie Hunt is an intriguing sleuth mystery that will delight cat lovers. Lynley is retired and works for Friends of Felines, a cat rescue center. Happy with her work and seven cats, Lynley feels like she is in the prime of her life. One night, she discovers one of her cats playing with a stone. Slightly puzzled by the rock's origin, Lynley places it in a basket on the counter and promptly forgets about it. However, unbeknownst to her, the presence of the stone places Lynley and her cats in danger. Crime in her area is on the upswing; a pair of rare uncut chocolate diamonds are stolen, and a man in her neighborhood had his home burgled and is murdered. When her home is broken into, and she is attacked by the killer, Lynley and her friends decide to find the killer themselves and begin sleuthing. Will they find the killer before it's too late?
