Cats Undercover (Tuck & Ginger Book 2) by Ged Gillmore is the follow up children’s story for Cats on the Run. Cats Undercover is a funny, quirky children’s book about three unique, unusual and whimsical cats. These characters live on a farm near the Dingleberry Bottom and The Great Dark Forest. Let's meet them. Tuck is a handsome, fast black cat, who on the outside looks good, but the irony is that he's scared of everything; Tuck’s girlfriend, Minnie, is a long haired and colorful cat with a ferocious appetite; and next is the well-rounded and world traveled, Ginger, who feels that she is missing out on something by still living on the farm.
On the dilapidated, isolated farm, each cat has their own view of what farm life holds for them. In combination with farm life and their eccentric personalities, how they are able to coexist together is hilarious. As children ride along in Cats Undercover, with Tuck, Minnie and Ginger, they will also meet rats Vicious Lee, Bumfluff McGuff, and Fleabomb McGee who all seem to have the lay of the farm until William and Frances Pongs enter the scene. With the Pongs around now, nothing will ever be the same again.
Funny how life seems to be not so bad when something comes in and threatens it. In reading Cats Undercover, children will laugh as they see how Tuck, Minnie and Ginger were able to come together once their territory was invaded. In Cats Undercover, children will experience adventure, and undercover secrets and chaos as the Pongs, the cats and the rats all become intertwined. Beautiful book cover and story.
