Celtic Betrayal by Eric Steven Griesel is a sweeping multigenerational saga that follows the Kerrigan family’s journey from Ireland to the United States. We're with the family across five generations as we follow their rise from humble beginnings to immense wealth and influence. But as the family’s power grows, they face betrayals from within that threaten to destroy everything they’ve built. Against the backdrop of historical events, Griesel crafts a compelling tale of ambition, loyalty, and the cost of power. The novel’s rich historical detail and complex family dynamics make for a powerful and absorbing read.

Author Eric Steven Griesel creates a real sense of genuine family in this story, with a narrative that gives readers a full view of the Kerrigan family’s journey through history and how different generations shape the next. I loved the attention to authentic historical detail and how the smallest moments of the characters' daily lives connect with bigger historical events and the cultural changes that affect them. The Kerrigan family members are complex and flawed, with great narrative detail that shows off every depth and nuance in their personalities and helps us get to know and root for them all the more. This connects to the exploration of power, greed, and loyalty across different generations, making for a gripping and emotionally resonant read. Overall, Celtic Betrayal is a truly epic family saga that fans of historical fiction are sure to enjoy, and I'd highly recommend it.
