I like how Ray boldly explores the realities of historical women whose dynamic contributions (especially in the fields of espionage and science) may go unacknowledged even in our present modern era. The writing vividly echoes the tonal shifts between the themes, the witty banter among the main cast, and the reflective flashbacks of Nazi Germany. Altogether, this book will be appreciated by fans of historical fiction novels with an espionage thriller edge.
