Author Biography

Suzan Johnson has been the Media Specialist at an elementary school for the past nine years. She is a voracious reader of books of all genres. Growing up, she loved and enjoyed participating in sporting activities such as cheerleading and softball. As a teacher she encourages her students to read a variety of books and participate in sports. Suzan is a member of Florida Reading Association and Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Johnson currently lives in the South Florida area.

This colorful illustrated children's book offers your child a way to explore, stimulate and increase their imagination through counting in 3s while going with Chloe through Jamaica. Your child will discover so much about Jamaica on this journey and see the beauty that this country has to offer. Your child will visit the Martha Brae River, walk among the mango trees, watch how the hummingbirds interact, see how tall the Jamaican Blue Mountain is and learn about the sweet Spanish lime, ginepa.

I loved Chloe Counting Jamaica by 3s by Suzan Johnson because it offers an easy approach to reading and counting. The beautiful pictures help to tell the story and will get the reader excited to not only learn how to count in 3s but to learn more about Jamaica. Learning to count in 3s will help to improve your child's brain stimulus. This author has a lot of other books to help children learn and grow from stories about dancing to being in a military family. I wonder where Chloe will end up next?
