Author Biography

TR grew up in west central Wisconsin. Watching the aircraft from nearby Ft. McCoy fly overhead got him interested in both the military and aviation. After graduating from the University of Minnesota he reported to MCRD San Diego CA to start his military career in the Marines. During twenty years of active duty he served as an aircraft Ground Support Equipment technician, a Communications Officer, and a CH-53E Helicopter Pilot, primarily serving on the west coast with numerous overseas deployments.

Upon retiring from the military he worked various jobs before landing his current role as an Aviation Ground School Instructor for a major logistics company in Louisville, KY.

TR's start in writing began when, in a discussion with his wife about 'bucket list' items, he mentioned he'd always wanted to write a book someday. At his wife’s strong suggestion to "go for it!" he did. The subsequent journey has been one of enlightenment, hard work, and the realization of a desire and passion for writing.

The characters for Dogs of Warr were initially developed in 1987; the first incarnations being comic book characters drawn in a sketchbook. The first novel, in an ongoing series, was a way to bring those characters to life, giving them depth and dimension.

While only a 'part time' author, it's become a 'full-time' passion for TR and the ideas keep flowing, eventually winding up on ‘paper’. He sincerely hopes others will hop on to enjoy the ride he's taking his characters on!!

Chronicles of Skull & Crossbownes: The Central American File is the second installment of the series by T.R. Gabriel. When they are not enjoying the high society life of billionaires, twin brothers Timothy G. and Anthony B. Robertson are navigating the treacherous terrain of the dark web to continue their work as costumed contract killers, Skull and Crossbownes. After accomplishing their mission to get rid of the local boss of the Demonios Sangrientos in Los Angeles, the brothers set their sights on Central America, where the leader of the gang, Romero Padilla, resides. However, FBI Special Agent Danny Jones is hot on their trail. With the help of their loyal assistant, Lexington Smythe, Skull and Crossbownes will now embark on a bloody quest of mayhem and carnage to get to their man.

This is the perfect book for fans of John Wick or Max Payne. The Central American File is an adrenaline-pumping thrill ride of a novella that would not look out of place as the script for an action-packed Hollywood blockbuster. Using a fast-paced plot featuring lots of action and witty dialogue, T.R. Gabriel ensures readers are entertained through until the end. The narrative just oozes style, primarily because Gabriel keeps it minimalistic with little room for fluff. The characters are intentionally over-the-top and exhibit traits you usually associate with protagonists from Hollywood action movies. The dynamic between Skull, Crossbownes, and Lex was one of the book's highlights for me. In conclusion, if you're looking for a breezy read featuring thrilling action sequences and delightful one-liners, The Central American File is the book for you.
