Cupid Ain’t Stupid: Cupid-in-Training by Zoe Michal with illustrations by Nejla Shojaie shares the delightful adventures of Cupid and his fellow students as they attend Valentine’s Day School. Cupid and his friends must learn many lessons including how to fly, create poetry, make chocolate, and much more. Teachers of these necessary subjects are charming and glide about like angels. Whimsical illustrations accompany this engaging story. Cupid is adorable and extremely lovable; it is a joy to follow his journey to graduation from this special school. Cupid and his peers have many funny moments as they learn and practice the skills which will help them to bring people together with love. An entertaining tale, Cupid’s eagerness to learn is contagious and uplifting. This heartwarming story will amuse and enchant readers of all ages.

Cupid Ain’t Stupid: Cupid-in-Training by Zoe Michal offers a magical look into becoming Cupid. Children will enjoy the highly entertaining antics of Cupid and his fellow students. This upbeat and fun story is one that young readers will want to hear again and again. The creative rhymes and cheerful illustrations throughout are captivating. There are many things to enjoy but I found the math lesson that Cupid must learn to be especially touching. This will make a fantastic gift for any child on Valentine’s Day and will also be a great story to have on hand throughout the year as it shares a positive message and celebrates love. This is a highly recommended read.
