In Dance for Me by J.C. Valentine, Josephine Hart is an Art major who moonlights as a pole dancer to pay the bills. She loves getting lost in the movements, but has a strict No Touching policy with all of the customers. Except for one man, Ransom Scott, who always sits in the darkest part of the room and whose intense gaze remains only on her. He's a mystery. Sexy, controlling, and demanding, his and Joe's nights are more about sex than love. Hot, dirty, passionate sex. Nothing more. Until one day he appears at her school. He seems like a different person in daylight hours and now Joe is more confused than ever. The more she learns about him, the less he seems like the man she thought she knew. But what she does know is that she's falling in love, falling hard. And it's going to hurt.
Dance for Me by J.C. Valentine is a fast and very hot read. With well developed characters and steamy scenes throughout, Dance for Me is the kind of erotic romance that can easily be read in one sitting. It leaves you wanting more. Valentine does a good job of drawing you into Joe and Ransom's story; she gives you just enough backstory to root for them and provides the perfect twist that puts everything into place while being something that you will totally not see coming! Definitely interested in the second book in the trilogy, Lie to You.
