It is easy to see that Tameka M. Hacker desires to bring glory and honor to God in all she does. She gives the reason for writing Daring Believer to be that she might bring glory to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This 40-day devotional uses Scripture to encourage readers to live boldly and openly for Christ. Jesus is with His children and empowers them to make a bold statement of faith to all those around them. Daring Believer will both inspire and encourage the reader in their walk with Jesus. Each day in this devotional, Tameka shares a portion of Scripture and then relates it to how living for Christ is possible and expected. The emphasis is on the Word of God and the Living Word—Jesus Christ.
