Delilah Recovered by Amelia Dellos is a fantasy novel with just the right amount of action. Dee was unemployed and about to be evicted when her life changed. She was attacked by two men who claimed they were witch hunters and wanted her dead. That little incident made Dee remember some very important aspects of her life. Dee is a powerful witch, a descendant of Joan of Arc and she is the guardian of King Solomon’s ring. While all of this information was relevant, Dee couldn’t help but wonder why she forgot who she was and why no one came to protect her. As Dee went through one quest after another to find the truth, she finally realized the amount of responsibility on her shoulders and why she was attacked in the first place.

Filled with twists and turns that had me holding my breath, Delilah Recovered by Amelia Dellos fascinated me. I was hooked from the very beginning and that opening scene with Samuel had me scratching my head for all the right reasons. Delilah was charming, a little unsure, yet captivating. The more she discovered her powers, the more determined she became to discover her roots and find her family. The dialogue was entertaining, and the descriptions were vivid. The story was developed perfectly, the concept was unique, and its execution was outstanding. The narrative moved fluidly through chapters and made it so easy for me to devour the novel in just a couple of hours. The delivery was remarkable, and the ending truly surprised me. I would highly recommend this novel to anyone who is a fan of suspense, fantasy, and witches.
