Martin Bodek’s Donald J. Trump Will You Please Go Now! is a call for the controversial president of the United States of America, Mr. Donald J. Trump, to leave office at the time of the 2021 elections. This event concluded Trump’s eventful four-year term as president. According to Bodek, most American citizens had had enough of Trump’s controversies and his aggressive character. Bodek insisted that Trump should go and he asserted that he did not care about the circumstances of the president's departure. In conclusion, Bodek is very grateful that President Joe Biden and his Vice President Kamala Harris won the election.
Martin Bodek’s Donald J. Trump Will You Please Go Now! combines art and literature. Bodek uses sentences that are simple enough for younger readers to understand. His words are accompanied by pictures of Trump and other national and international leaders, which he intertwines on each page. The images used in the book add color to the reading experience. They also serve to reinforce his message. Readers will undoubtedly find the images and his plea humorous. Bodek’s frustration, impatience, intolerance, irritation, exasperation, and annoyance with Trump can be felt throughout his continuous grumbling. This book will appeal to readers generally.
