Tarthur awakens from a horrifying nightmare only to discover that it is the beginning of an actual chain of events that will drastically alter the world of Daranor. In Dream Quest by Bill T. Pottle, Tarthur and his childhood friend Derlin become the key figures in the fight of King Garkin, Elves, Mermen, and other people of the land against the dual threat of the evil siblings, Darhyn and Marhyn. As the unexpected recipient of the spell that controls the power of the Water Orb, Tarthur is the only hope for defeating the Death Lord and his wicked sister. Growing up quickly in the process of understanding his role in the unfolding action and knowing that the fate of the world rests on his shoulders, Tarthur accepts the responsibility and strives to live up to the faith that so many have put in him. Facing unspeakable monsters and undead creatures with magical powers, Tarthur and his friends battle until the bitter end and hope for victory.

Bill T. Pottle creates the amazing world of Daranor in Dream Quest and populates it with a wide variety of creatures. Well-developed characters and detailed interactions tell the story of the turmoil in Daranor created by the renewed presence of the evil forces that had been banished many years ago. It is easy to feel the joys and sorrows of Tarthur, his friends, and the rest of the characters he meets along the path that has been dictated by his nightmare. The action moves relentlessly towards the battle that will determine if Daranor survives or is lost forever.
