Adam disliked fruits and vegetables and he was fussy when it came to eating them. One day, Adam gets a special visitor; Foodie the good food Dwarf. He magically appears in Adam's room and teaches him how to eat fruits and vegetables in a fun way. Adam changes his eating habits from that day and finds himself filled with a new-found energy.
With its educational concept, this is an excellent book for children who have eating problems. The author has put across the concept of healthy eating in a playful manner that is appealing to any child. The author has used her experience as a dietitian in writing a story that is educational. It can be used by parents as a bedtime story book and for read-aloud. It a good book to introduce children to reading, to healthy eating habits, and to introduce them to the names of new fruits and vegetables.
The value of educating children about eating healthy is necessary at a time when they are consuming a lot of junk food. This book is ideal for inculcating a sense of eating healthy. The narration is very simple and entertaining. The book is ideal for parents who want to change the eating habits of their children. The author also introduces colors with it to make the story more appealing. The illustrations complement the story wonderfully.
