Empowerment Through Coaching by JD Roman and Manuel Ferrandez is a useful tool that will help readers to get the best from themselves and also empower them to succeed in a professional environment. The author speaks about the term 'coaching,' which has become so popular, and what it means exactly. Leadership and coaching concepts and the strategies shared by the author in the book are informative. The world is changing rapidly and the fundamental aspect that determines the development of companies is the quality of their leaders. This book helps in developing that skill and discusses in depth the notions of leaders and leadership, and the role they play in any coaching process.

I found the book useful as it focuses on 'change and how a leader can confront it, focused on the people development through the use of a coaching process.' The qualitative and quantitative reason for the importance of coaching is also explained well. Leaders need to generate a good learning methodology, and the basic characteristics of coaching shared by the author are quite useful in evaluating new concepts, systems, skills, and tools.
The author handles the topic extensively and methodically, making it easy for readers to comprehend and apply the concepts effectively. The four phases, according on the G.R.O.W. model, are also quite useful for the coaching process in companies.
