Fehlen introduces readers to Delhi, India's capital city and home to 29 million people, and gives them colorful images of the place, its history, economy, old and new architecture, transportation, sports, great food and shopping, and infrastructure. The book is a handy tool to make readers understand what makes Delhi the city it is and every chapter has the right amount of content that will give readers an overview of the city in an interesting way. The book also shares charming photos that will make the multicultural aspect and diversity of the place palpable to readers.

Explore Delhi: Great Cities of the World by Douglas J. Fehlen is educational and informative and the author's approach to describing important landmarks and the timeline of major events is original and engaging. The sidebars, fun facts, and the map showing the location of Delhi in the world are added bonuses and will help readers learn more about the city. The book is useful for travelers and tourists who are planning to visit Delhi and will also encourage readers to explore new destinations. It is an excellent book to have in one's personal collection; the entire series is good to own for information on the various countries of the world. It can also be kept in school and public libraries for good reference material. The book is well written, simple, neat, and crisp, making it an entertaining read.
