Forgiveness is a powerful tool, according to author Robert A. Hobbs in this motivational work of non-fiction entitled Exploring the Wonders of Healing through Forgiveness. The author is a Christian Spiritualist. Christian Spiritualism follows the general concept of the orthodox Christian churches. Hobbs discusses the principles of Christian spiritualism and describes death as passing through a virtual veil to the other side of death, to a life everlasting which is God’s promise to mankind. Hobbs states that one of the biggest lessons we must learn is tolerance because, without it, we cannot move on to understanding, acceptance, and forgiveness. We must tolerate the good but not destructive behaviors; we must sow the seed of peace because peace brings with it harmony and balance. Kindness goes hand-in-hand with forgiveness, tolerance, and understanding, followed by love, respect, harmonious relationships, generosity and the courage to forgive. Hobbs also discusses the use of crystals in the field of healing – Reiki healing crystals, specifically.
Hobbs’ prose is simple yet grounded in spirituality. Clearly, the author believes in what he speaks about yet there’s no “hard motivational sell” to turn off the reader. Exploring the Wonders of Healing through Forgiveness is a relatively short book yet it’s chock full of poems by luminaries such as Maya Angelou and quotes from famous individuals from all walks of life such as Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, St. Francis of Assisi, Martin Luther King Jr., and Steve Jobs. This diversity suggests a man that is well-read and is receptive to learning and understanding that which shapes our lives. There are also passages where he receives communications from the spirit world which add another layer of spirituality that will be sure to resonate with many readers. Exploring the Wonders of Healing through Forgiveness promises to be a soothing balm to many.
