Did Evan commit suicide as the police assume or was he murdered as his parents think? Unable to discover for themselves, the dad Charlie calls on his brother Jay to discover the truth. This is the start of a search for answers that include the old history of a mass murder by a cult group many years ago. Jay has difficulty getting the authorities to help as the clues are so scattered. Charlie is little help as he suffers from a bipolar disorder. Then more murders occur. Andrew Gross has written a scary murder mystery, "Eyes Wide Open".
This book, "Eyes Wide Open" by Andrew Gross, is a spell binding novel that will keep you mesmerized from the beginning till the end. A young man, Evan, has committed suicide, or was he murdered? This starts a mystery that begins as a recounting of Manson's murders of the distant past and leads to more murders in the present day. Jay, Evan's uncle, is called away from his medical practice to assist the young man's parents as they are not able to cope. It is a wild and difficult story of the search for answers. This is a well-written story that will keep you enthralled as little by little dark secrets are unfolded. The past must be delved into to unfold secrets which will throw light into present day murders. Jay is torn between his own medical practice and family and the problems that beset his brother and wife.
