Do you want to attract more money? Do you wish to have more luck? A happier love life? Have you tried the ancient practice of Feng Shui, but found it too complicated? Feng Shui Express by Felicia Lau is a self-help book that simplifies the art of Feng Shui, breaking down the basics and giving it to you in an easy to read format. Start with Feng Shui fundamentals such as "chi" and moving into the more complicated "Bagua" map, then learn how to put it all together and apply it in your life. This book is a valuable read if you want to know more about Feng Shui and how to utilize its principles immediately. Are you ready to take control of your life and attract all good things to you?

Feng Shui Express by Felicia Lau is a beautifully written spiritual book that guides the reader through the more complex features of practicing Feng Shui. I loved how the author explains Feng Shui in layman's terms, then gives the reader options on how they want to proceed with the next steps of Feng Shui; the Bagua. Until I read this book, I wasn't aware of the mathematical aspects involved in practicing this ancient art. Now, I feel that I have a pretty good idea of what Feng Shui is and which version I want to practice. I love that the book gives the reader two options; Western Feng Shui for the less math inclined and Traditional Feng Shui for those that know their way around a compass and protractor and have no issues with math. I would recommend this book to those readers interested in Feng Shui as a way to bring positive change into their lives without suffering from information overload as this book is easy to read and the information easier to apply.

This is a good book that explains the basics of how to set up Feng Shui. It will give you a start so you can think about if you want to do it.

I learned a lot from this short book. It had the basics that taught me what to do and how to get started with my house or my office. I am not so sure about the traditional way because I have to measure and know math to use this way, but the book makes it easy to understand. I learned important things such as how to place the bed, and why only certain beds are okay with one long side against the wall. Learning to section off a room was fast.

If you only know a little about Feng Shui, this is the book to learn more about it. If you already know a lot about it, you won't learn anything new.

I am always looking for ideas on how to rearrange my home and office into a positive environment, lifting me up when I feel the most drained and stressed out. I have purchased Feng Shui textbooks in the past, leaving me even more confused and overwhelmed than ever before. I was about to give up until I have read this book. Why haven’t I’ve read this years ago? Felicia Lau, was able to explain the basic principles and tips about Feng Shui, in the most simplistic and engaging manner for beginners. Allowing you to tap into the power of Feng Shui on your own without “years of study” or a “degree”. These tips are easy to follow and straightforward. She adds humor and excitement to the text, grabbing your attention and craving for more information without making you fall sleep.

You are given step-by-step directions and well-illustrated images on how to improve the flow of energy by optimizing the layout of your home or office space. This is a great guide to helping you transform your vision into a layout you will benefit the most out of, using colors, objects, and giving you the option to choose a western or traditional Feng Shui style. Once this layout is set into place, you are able to attract positive energy into your environment and making it last for a long time. I have implemented these tips from this book into to my work space, and I already can feel the difference. My layout is exactly how I have envisioned, a sanctuary where I can destress and become happy and productive. This text is well-suited for those who may not know all the traditional Feng Shui remedies and cures, and this offers alternatives to remedies that you may have around the house or can get at a nearby store.

Excellent for the visual learner and well-worth the purchase!

The words Feng Shui are dropped a lot here and there sometimes seriously and sometimes in jest. However, it is a real practice in many parts of the world; I personally had never tried it until a friend suggested I do it. This is the reason I bought this book, as I wanted to understand it as I only heard about it.

Feng Shui means in translation 'Wind-Water' is a science and can be used as an art form and for religious purposes as well. I didn't want to become a licensed consultant which would take me 50 hours of classes because I am very happy being a writer, and jewelry designer however, making my home/office flow better for different aspects of my life. I never knew exactly what Feng Shui was but after reading this book I am confident that I can arrange my home/office to make things flow in a way that will help my life be more productive.

It gave me many ideas that I can use to "map" out my space for its new look and I can't wait to try it out. I already rearranged my desk area and it "feels" better somehow. I am eager to try it out on other parts of the house if my husband lets me, and that is a big IF. I was pleased with the information in this book and will definitely suggest it to any one of my friends that drops the words "Feng Shui" again in the future.

If you’ve been curious about feng shui but have never tried it, this book could be a great beginner’s guide since it’s written in an easy-to-understand way. For those who know a little about feng shui, the book may be even easier to read. It gives the highlights about what feng shui is and isn’t, and tells readers how to apply some of the information in their own lives. Feng shui means “Wind-Water” I learned. Other terms that are explained include: cures, remedies, chi (energy) and elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Metal and Wood). The book is very interactive, which is fun. There’s a quiz to help decide whether you want to use Western (easier to understand) or Traditional feng shui (more precise but also difficult to understand).

There’s also a section on figuring which rooms in your home face which direction and are controlled by which categories of life. Readers are taught how to draw their own blueprint of the rooms for the purposes of feng shui. To be honest, try as I might, I couldn’t quite figure this out, but I’ll keep working on it. There’s still a lot to learn, though, about placing items and furniture in order to attract and keep money, love and overall luck. This is easy to follow and a great way to get started enhancing your life.

I’ve never been all that interested in Feng Shui. I’ve been curious about how it can help me be more productive and what not, but I never thought about actually doing anything about creating an environment that flows with me. Wanting to decorate my cubicle at work so it’s a bit more personal, I decided to read this book to expand my knowledge. I wanted to see what I could learn using Feng Shui and how it can help me. I’m not much of a decorator, so this book was extremely helpful.

It gives basics on how to apply Feng Shui to a space, but even the little additions to an office or cubicle can help immensely. A small workspace can become much more comfortable. I spend most of my time in a cubicle for my day job; after reading this book, I can’t believe I’ve been silly enough to not taken Feng Shui into account. I feel much more comfortable and at ease in my workspace. It feels like my own area rather than a place I have to feel stressed all the time. It’s amazing what the little things can do to improve your quality of life.

I definitely give this book a 4 out of 5 stars. There is fantastic advice and examples within it that do wonders for any space. Yes, there are still bits of errors that I have found throughout the book, but it can be easily looked over with how informative the book is. Overall, it is a fabulous resource for anyone wanting to learn more about Feng Shui, or wanting to improve their quality of life in any space. I’m definitely going to recommend this book to anyone I can. The next time a friend or family member comes to me asking for suggestions or advice, the first thing I’m going to do is point them to this book for help. Perfect reference!
