Finding Soul by TL Searle is the first book in The Darovit series. Jon Miller was rescued as a child by a mysterious girl that changed his life and remained in his dreams. Jon’s journey has all the elements of a hero’s quest as he delves through this world of magic and danger where he’s able to discover more about his origins and learn the truth behind the secrets from his past. The character of Her is a mystery as she’s a vibrant and powerful figure whose very essence is magical and otherworldly. Her perspective in the story provides an opposite to Jon’s as he’s a young voice that is finding himself and going through a hero’s journey while Her’s gives a deeper look at the mythology of this amazing world TL Searle has created. Searle gives a delightful and unique twist on mythology with the inclusion of various creatures throughout including naja, witches, and mermen. The magic within the world is beautiful and unique in a way that pulls you in along with the characters. Finding Soul is a getaway adventure that takes you along for a thrilling and magical ride from start to finish.
