Gabriella Rose Meets the Pandas Funi and Wang Wang by Roz Potgieter is a fun-filled, educative children’s story centered on the wonderful adventures of an imaginative young girl. Gabi and her sister are on vacation with their parents in Adelaide, Australia. The girls are excited to be invited to two pandas’ birthday party at the zoo. On the eve of the pandas’ birthday party, Gabi has a dream that draws her into the world of pandas. They have a lovely time climbing rocks and playing games. Through Gabi’s ingenuity, they come up with a delightful dance routine but can the pandas learn the dance moves fast enough before the birthday begins and what will the crowd think of their dance routine?
Roz Potgieter beautifully integrates informative animal-related content into the adventure-packed story, Gabriella Rose Meets the Pandas Funi and Wang Wang. Children will be drawn to the sisters’ captivating adventures as they meet different animals in the zoo and learn about them. They will also love Gabi's and Ana’s costumes and Gabi’s creative dance ideas which she introduces to the pandas. I loved that the book also contains more educative information about pandas and their intriguing habits. Gabriella Rose Meets the Pandas Funi and Wang Wang is a splendid addition to the Gabriella Rose Dream Series. Children will learn from its eye-opening content and will enjoy the whimsical adventures included in the story. Enhanced by colorful illustrations, it will also ignite their imaginations and inspire them to love and appreciate animals.
