"God’s Wake-Up Call" by Dr. Rick Metrick is a well-written book aimed at the believers of Jesus. It is intended to remind them that they are living in the last days before the rapture. This book shows us how we must look around and see the indifference that surrounds the Church today and how to improve and protect ourselves against these times. Dr. Metrick calls on us to wake up and become more faithful Christian believers. The book is broken down into an introduction and a call to action and has a 27 day challenge to read and then practise. Revelation 3:14-22 is explained from several different sources, with today’s world in mind. Each of the 27 days starts with a different Bible verse and a reason and way to wake up, ending with an Answering God’s Call Summary and a call to face up to the test. "God’s Wake-Up Call" is written knowing the end times are near and Jesus will be returning suddenly and without warning. Dr. Metrick is attempting to make us ready us for this day and ensure our faithfulness.
This book is a great reminder for all Christians on the how-to and why of living the best Christian life. "God’s Wake-Up Call" is a must read for all Christian church goers and their pastors.
