My grandmother wears purple clothes and red hats because she likes to have fun. You would be surprised at the red and purple clothes, hats, stockings, gloves and shoes my grandma has. She even has feathers called a boa she wears around her neck. You wouldn’t believe all of the red and purple things she has. And she has all of these things because even though she is my grandma, she wants to dress up and have fun.
Grandma wears her red and purple stuff everywhere she goes, like to the grocery store, playing baseball with me, shopping,with her friends who are also wearing red and purple. Can you believe they even have red towels and purple robes for the sauna? And guess what color her car is? Well you need to read the book and find out all of the other red and purple things she has. You might just be surprised.
This is a cute, fun and funny book about a spunky grandma who loves her bright colors, loves to go places and have fun, and loves her friends and granddaughter. How fun to have a special relationship with a grandma like this one! This book is truly a book of color, and the awesome illustrations will make this book a success. I love that the faces of grandma and her friends show such excitement as they are having fun. And the dressed-up granddaughter at the end of the book with her red and purple and make up is just adorable.
