Mark Steele author of Half-Life/Die Already writes with humor and wisdom. Both Mark and Kaysie were Christians when they met. Each distinctly heard the voice of God (at different times). The Lord assured each that they were meant to marry. If only more people waited for their God chosen mate there would be less divorce.

I hate to laugh at someone else’s expense but I had to. Mark fell through the ceiling of his bedroom. Well fell through does not exactly describe what happen. His feet fell through but he ended up straddling a beam. I can only imagine the pain. (After all, I am female.) He spent quite some time trying to find out why he was ill no one ever related it the accident. He was so sick he at times wanted to die.

Mark allows reader a glimpse inside his journey to a closer relationship to God. Only by dying to self can we truly live for the Lord. I laughed a lot and cried a lot (especially for Hero) as I read this book. Mark Steele and his family lived through eighteen months of trials and tribulations yet they came out stronger. This is a must read for everyone. We all face what I call storms of life through our Savior we can find strength to keep going. Thank you, Mr. Steele, for allowing us to laugh with you. We have learned to grow from your situations.
