Prior to writing, Cricket's career path included the following adventures: actor, singer, audio/video producer, classroom teacher, school principal, and U of A, College of Education assistant professor. All three books are works of fiction. REALLY! (Well, except the part about the dog; she really had a dog like Wendell, the mastiff, who appears in every book.)

Hit the Road, Jake by Cricket Rohman is Book 3 of the Lindsey Lark Series. Jake and Lindsey have become good at finding petty offenders, but their latest mystery has turned personal, resulting in tires that are slashed, a missing pet, blood, and some very steamy love letters. Jake manages to get some of the blood samples tested for DNA, but neither of them expect the shocking results. Things are about to turn very deadly indeed. While they seem to be the perfect couple, travelling in their RV, and solving mysteries that schools don’t want anyone knowing about, things are about to change in a big way when all hell breaks loose.
Hit the Road, Jake (Lindsey Lark Series Book 3) is another amazing story in this series. Again, you could probably read this one on its own, but truthfully, I would urge anyone thinking of picking up this book to read the previous books first, if only to gain the background knowledge. This is another great story line, a deep and twisting plot that will have you on the edge of your seat, turning the pages anxiously to see what could possibly happen next. The character development is continued in the same vein as the other books, allowing us more glimpses into what makes the main characters tick. Is there going to be a fourth in the series? I hope so because this is one of the best series I have read in a long time. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants a good story to get into.
