After seeing Greta the Great's cool tricks, Mila decided she wanted to become a magician too. But no matter how hard she tried, she always failed, and it made her frustrated and sad. Just as she was about to give up, Mila is approached by someone who reveals something incredible. Hocus Pocus Practise Focus is a wonderful resource that children can learn from and which they will grow to love. The author grabs readers’ attention from the first page and keeps it throughout. From the moment you begin reading, you are drawn into the world Amy Kimlat has created. She has a talent for entertaining young readers and educating them at the same time; every word has a purpose. The illustrations by Srinidhi Srinivasan are adorable and fit perfectly within the storyline. Keep up the great work. I look forward to reading more from Kimlat soon.
