Hypnopoetics…Modern Love Poems and Hypnopoetics Inductions, by Phil Billitz, is the hopeful lover’s tool for seduction. In this special collection of poems, Billitz uses carefully crafted rhythm, meter, and rhyme to create mesmerizing poems that are designed to relax and woo your potential lover. These poems are written to be spoken aloud and the cadence stirs the soul and heightens emotion. Whether you read these poems to a newfound attraction or your spouse, they are written in order to captivate your lover’s mind and draw them into your embrace. So turn the lights down low, practice your soft romantic tones, and let the poetry reading begin.
When I first picked up this book I was incredulous of its abilities to seduce. I found myself disbelieving its abilities to “program a woman’s unconscious mind…to fall helplessly in love…” As a strong, independent woman, I did not like the idea that I could be “programmed.” As a poetry writer myself, I was even more doubtful of the quality of poems I would be reading. However, I was pleasantly surprised by Phil Billitz’s Hypnopoetics. After reading, I did not find myself overcome with love for this author I did not know, but I did find myself relaxed and more open to romance from my own partner.
Billitz’s poetry unlocks the unconscious thoughts of romance that already dwell within the mind and allows them to flow more freely. He is quick to point out that these are not magical poems; hypnosis will not work on someone who is not willing on at least the subconscious level. This book is not some quick seduction tool like it may appear at first, but I do recommend it for any couple looking to take their relationship to a more intimate level or to established couples looking to spice up their love life.
