Jon Hersey works as a successful business analyst for Paul Tyler, whom he met through his wife Alissa, in Paul’s company, Biz Planners LLC. He is content and they are happy until the worst thing happens: Alissa suddenly dies from cancer. Jon has never felt more alone. He needs something, anything to pull him back from the edge of despair. A few months later, while waiting for a flight to Dallas, he meets business consultant Daryl Alexander when Daryl sits next to him and strikes up a conversation. Jon soon learns that his meeting with Daryl was not really accidental as Daryl tells him a story about him. Jon soon discovers that his talent and Navy SEAL training has made him an attractive candidate for Daryl’s employer, Zeta Consulting Group. The Zeta Group is a secret organization known only to a severely limited number of people with a secret mission of their own. As Jon continues to learn, Zeta Consulting Group knows more about him than he ever imagined and Daryl is there to offer him a chance to join them and do what it takes to make a difference, if he is willing to take a chance.

"Jon Hersey-Industrial Spy" is an interesting read. I’m not sure the title tells the real story. The main characters are more than industrial spies, much more. Although rather short, the story catches the reader’s interest immediately and keeps up a high level of intensity throughout. While the plot is adequate and the dialogue is good, I think each could have been expanded somewhat to make a good story into a very good story.
