This Time by E.A. Coe is a captivating novel about Ty Harrell, a Marine helicopter pilot who returns to Tartan Springs to attend his ten-year high school reunion. He unexpectedly reconnects with his old high school crush, Siena Tyson, a small-town bookkeeper. What begins as simple conversations at the reunion grows into a powerful connection. However, their love is tested by past struggles and present challenges. This marks the beginning of their journey toward acceptance, resilience, and a new beginning.

What I loved most about this book was the writing style; it was captivating and detailed and the plot unfolded naturally. Siena's strength and resilience inspired me so much. Despite all she had gone through in her past relationship and her fight against corruption in her town, she still didn't let it break her or affect her future. I found myself rooting for her every step of the way. I appreciate Pastor Tom's guidance and support during Siena's emotional journey; his kind words of encouragement brought so much peace and comfort to me. Ty Harrell was one of my best characters. He was such an understanding, brave, and committed young man who knew what he wanted the moment he met Siena. It felt like fate had brought them together. The characters felt so real; they were well-developed and easy to identify with. This book looks into themes of trust, redemption, and resilience. I recommend This Time by E.A. Coe to lovers of heartfelt romance and suspense-filled novels.

In This Time by E. A. Coe, Ty returns to Tartan Springs for his ten-year high school reunion, where he reconnects with Seeney, a close friend from senior year. Ty and Seeney’s old spark quickly resurfaces, and the two begin to rebuild their relationship. Recently divorced after discovering Jack’s unfaithfulness, Seeney is determined to move forward and take charge of her life. After the reunion, she turns down a dinner invitation from Todd, who once broke her heart in high school. Stung by rejection, Todd plots revenge and enlists Jack to help undermine her. Meanwhile, Ty faces a one-year deployment, forcing the couple to adjust to a long-distance relationship. Can Ty and Seeney overcome the schemes against them and the trials of separation to build a future together?

This Time by E. A. Coe captivated and intrigued me. It was a roller coaster ride of romance, suspense, and drama. The steady pacing held my attention from the very first page. The chapters transitioned seamlessly, and each one complemented the others perfectly. The writing style was riveting, and I could sense Todd and Jack's bitterness and jealousy toward Seeney. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat, turning the pages as quickly as possible. I could not put the book down; I was eager to know what would happen next. Themes of forgiveness, resilience, and trust were intricately woven into the story. The characters felt genuine and relatable. Seeney does not allow her past heartbreak to define her, while Ty is reliable and caring. The story is beautifully crafted and is a great read for romantic suspense fans.

In This Time, E. A. Coe crafts a heartfelt second-chance romance set against the backdrop of small-town West Virginia. Ty Harrell is a Marine helicopter pilot who returns to his hometown of Tartan Springs for his ten-year high school reunion. There, he reunites with Siena "Seeney" Tyson, an old friend and unrequited high school crush. Their reconnection is electric, leading to a blossoming romance that’s mature but complicated by their respective pasts. Now, with the growing romance, they have to handle Seeney's recent painful divorce from an unfaithful husband, her struggle to rebuild her life as an independent businesswoman, and the persistent interference of the town’s inappropriate mayor, Todd Foster. Supporting characters, like their enigmatic high school friend Pastor Tom Burns, provide wisdom.

Beyond its romantic core, This Time shines in its exploration of themes such as forgiveness, personal growth, and the powerful pull of “what might have been.” E. A. Coe impressed me with the excellent characterization and the imaginative nature of the plot, using experiences like hiking and family holidays to explore the bonds between the characters. Seeney is strong but flawed; her journey from betrayal to self-assurance is believable and inspiring. Ty is steady, principled, and emotionally open, a refreshing portrait of modern masculinity. The setting—Tartan Springs and its colorful history—gives the perfect backdrop for this romance. It’s a microcosm of community, gossip, and the ties of home. Secondary plots, such as clashes with the sexist mayor and the lingering suspense around Pastor Tom’s mysterious skills, enrich the story and heighten the suspense. This is a gorgeous treat for romance fans.

This Time by E. A. Coe follows Siena Tyson, fondly called Seeney, who was in a relationship with Todd in high school. After they broke up, she started developing feelings for Ty while they worked on the yearbook together. They didn't communicate about this until they graduated and Ty moved out of town. Ten years later, Ty is stationed at Andrews Air Force Base in D.C. as part of the unit assigned to fly missions for the President of the United States. Seeney, on the other hand, is divorced and runs her own bookkeeping business and even plans to go back to school to study accounting. There is a high school reunion at Tartan Springs, West Virginia, where they run into each other, and old feelings are ignited. They decide to give it a shot this time, but what obstacles will they have this time?

This Time by E. A. Coe is a beautiful love story of rekindled feelings, and the author nicely blends romance and personal growth. The flow was slow at first, introducing the characters from the reunion and sharing their life stories up until the reunion. Ty has a thoughtful and charming personality, which makes him relatable. Seeney is also a unique character, especially when emotions are involved, and I loved her confidence. The book also has tense parts, as it perfectly expresses love, forgiveness, courage, and second chances. I really loved their bonding and lovely vacation moments, as these were really sweet. Todd, a corrupt mayor, helps make the plot complicated. The author did a great job with the detailing of this book, and it was really worth my time reading it.

This Time by E. A. Coe is the story of Tyrell Harrell and Siena Tyson after their meeting at a ten-year high school reunion. Tyrell had a crush on Siena during his high school years, but couldn't open up; however, it's been ten years now, and Tyrell and Siena are ready to try again. Tyrell works in the military, while Siena, who is now divorced, is a small-town bookkeeper. After spending quality time at the high school reunion, they express their genuine love for each other and are planning their future together. Unfortunately, other events are in play. Tyrell gets deployed overseas for a year, keeping him away from Siena. Siena, on the other hand, is troubled by the nature of his work and is scared whether he will survive the war. Siena is left with troubling feelings about whether she is the right woman for Tyrell while facing challenges from Todd Foster, her ex-boyfriend, and Jack Stiles, her ex-husband.

This book was a captivating read. What stood out to me was how different plotlines all connected at the end. It featured Tyrell and Siena's romance, Siena's bookkeeping work, the water pollution linked to the McCaskey coal, and Todd and Jack's plot against Siena. I really enjoyed seeing how the different fallout of events tested Siena's love for Tyrell. This book excelled in many areas; the character development was top-notch, the pacing was seamless, and the book is visually appealing and well-organized. It would appeal to a wide audience since it covers many themes like romance, community, action, resilience, faith, and standing up for the truth. Coe was detailed in his writing, bringing every scene and setting to life. I recommend This Time by E. A. Coe to readers who enjoy romance novels with a touch of action and human drama.
