Krissy was born and raised in Upstate New York in the charming town of Fairport where she has taught for over 25 years. Her love of mystery was first revealed within the pages of From The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg and Nancy Drew's mystery series. She reads mystery, suspense, and thriller novels but enjoys fantasy and historical fiction too. Some of her favorite suspense/thriller authors are Janelle Brown, Karin Slaughter, Lisa Jewel, Kate White, and Lisa Gardner.

Lies That Bind, the prequel & Book 3 to her Ella Perri Mystery Series, takes a look at what happened in the Perri family before Buried Secrets begins.

Krissy is a proud member of several online writing groups, including Sisters In Crime, Mystery Writers of America, Active Alumni Writers, and the Association of Writers & Writing Programs.

Currently, Krissy teaches writing and reading to 5th-grade students and loves it. When the school day ends, the writing begins, and there is never enough time for that. The author resides in upstate New York, near Skaneateles, where Ella Perri's mysteries begin.
