Journalist Eva St. John was covering The Global Energy Summit. She was late arriving and speaker Jack McClaine made it clear that he did not like being interrupted. He politely, in a sexual tone, put her in her place when she asked a question. Eva brought up a program he denied being involved with. He was lying to save his skin and his stock in the company. He needed to find out where she received her information. Jack arranged to give Eva an interview on a day in the life of Jack McClaine. He knew it would take at least a month. He soon found out they have more in common than she bargained for.
Jack’s reputation as a playboy was well known. Can Eva resist the sexual advances from Jack? Will she become just another woman conquered? How long can she keep herself from falling for this Texas billionaire?
The sensual tension between Jack and Eva is strong. Both are likable characters and I found myself cheering their relationship on. I enjoyed the plot; it moved along nicely. This is an excellent book for fans of contemporary romance.
