I admit that going in I had no idea what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised by how intelligently persuasive Reynolds' point of view is. I found the tone of the book to be earnest and reflective without falling into the trap of preachiness, and Reynolds goes a long way in challenging readers to reexamine their priorities and follow through on an alternative path. While some may find a few aspects of the book a little too intense to jump into immediately with such radical changes, there is no pressure to adhere to a strict timeline, and Reynolds is sympathetic to what change does require. The writing itself is clear, precise, and actionable, and, overall, Reynolds effectively delivers a solid message on the power of inner transformation and how to achieve it. Recommended.
