Merry Claus and the Holiday Dash: A Nochebuena and Christmas Story by Stefani Pineda and Ellen H.S. is a must-have Christmas book for children of all ages. It is a busy time for the North Pole Crew. Merry Claus, also known as Mrs. Claus, is eager to celebrate Nochebuena and Christmas Day. Her family, due to her Mexican heritage, celebrates Nochebuena, which means "the Good Night," on Christmas Eve. Everyone wants to party and play, yet Merry and the rest of the North Pole Crew must first finish their to-do list. With each dash through all their to-dos, they are one step closer to the party. Yet not everything goes smoothly. Some obstacles seem to get in the way. Will the North Pole Crew call it quits or find a way to fix things so they can finally celebrate their traditions together?

Stefani Pineda and Ellen H.S. have crafted a valuable story that emphasizes the importance of teamwork, problem-solving, collaborative leadership, family traditions, diversity, and women in leadership. Featuring stunning illustrations by Luz Lara Villalpando, this charming picture book includes Spanish words and a diverse cast of characters, making it the perfect gift for Christmas. In it, young readers will delight in following Merry Claus (a clever, capable, and creative Latina woman), Santa, the elves, the reindeer, Rosa the Robot, Luis the Lobo, Teresa the Turtle, and some Arctic lemmings as they have fun preparing for Nochebuena and Christmas Day. This holiday journey is full of giggles, cookies, games, dancing, delightful decorations, and more.
