Millie & Marty Muldoon Miss Out by R.S. Prinzo is a children’s picture book. Millie and Marty don’t like bedtime because they think they are missing out on fun when they go to sleep. Every day, they find a clue that proves their parents are having fun without them, and they decide to sneak about after bedtime to see what’s going on. What they find shocks them – it never occurred to them there could be other explanations for the clues they found! What did Millie and Marty find out in this heartwarming tale?
Millie & Marty Muldoon Miss Out by R.S. Prinzo is a fun book with stunning illustrations by Sathomi Ekanayake. This is a lovely story that will have kids giggling – no doubt they will see something of themselves in Millie and Marty! The story illustrates the natural curiosity that most children have and also their innate feelings that they are missing out on things when they aren’t there. While this is a humorous tale, it’s also educational, teaching children about critical thinking, family dynamics, and how to question what they see around them. The illustrations are amazing and help bring the story to life. As this author’s first children’s book, it’s a wonderful story that kids everywhere will love. There are also some helpful questions at the end of the book to help children test their understanding of what they read – a great way to help them concentrate on the story and take it all in. A highly enjoyable book. I am looking forward to more from this author.
