Mobsters, Movie Stars & Musicians by Roger Rossi takes you into the life and world of piano player and vocalist Roger Rossi. Spending over 60 years of his life being a band leader and a musician has left Mr. Rossi with a wealth of stories to share with the world. You will encounter such names as Princess Diana, Jack Nicklaus, Johnny Mathis, Tony Bennett and so many more you can hardly believe it. The stories start in 1957 and bring the reader all the way to the present day, offering a look at the embarrassing as well as the entertaining stuff for the reader's enjoyment.

The first thing I can say about this book is what an incredible life Roger Rossi has lived to date. He has met an amazing array of people, gone to amazing places, and I truly feel honored as a reader to learn about this bandleader's incredible life. When I picked up this book to review, I will admit I did not know who Mr. Rossi was, but by the end of the book I truly felt as if in many ways I do know him now. I love a good memoir because, to me, life is a story and the more we share the more the story will be remembered. This was such a fun book that really was easy to read and the flow made it very entertaining for me.

My only complaint? I really wish this book was longer because I want more stories! That is not a bad complaint to have overall, I would say. I don't want to give any of these amazing stories away, but I will say that if you don't read this book you will be missing out. Life is an adventure and I thank Mr. Rossi for giving me, and anyone else who reads this book, a peek into his fantastic life adventure. If only we could all tell our stories in such a great way...
