Soft Landings is Jerry McDaniel’s view of human well-being as alignment within an integrated human system. The book explains how inner activity registers in the body and how misalignment appears through distress. McDaniel describes love as a foundational energy expressed through ordinary action and received through self-regard. He talks about fear as a learned pattern and that it actually shapes expectation until our attention returns. The book addresses transitions across life stages and examines research on near-death experiences in relation to consciousness. Abundance is defined through sufficiency and gratitude with shared responsibility for collective care. Guidance and ethical choices frame responses to injustice during daily life as lived human practice. The text places individual decision-making within spiritual continuity that extends beyond physical life and ethics.

Soft Landings: Spiritual Wisdom by Jerry McDaniel is one of those types of comforting books that, as you read it, inherently has a calm presence. I know that may sound strange, but perhaps it will make more sense once the book has been opened, as it is perfect for readers who feel unsure about spiritual ideas. This is an incredibly easy book to follow along with and wonderful to refer back to. McDaniel writes in a conversational style that is very accessible, which is important in a book where we are taught to treat the mind, body, and spirit as one living system. While everything he gives us is useful, the standout to me is when he talks about karma, something often misunderstood as punishment or revenge. McDaniel clarifies that karma operates as a system of learning in which past actions inform present awareness. It's a complicated concept, but I finally understand it! Hands down, this is the book of spiritual wisdom you should be reading. Recommended.

The spiritual journey can be taxing, and a safety net would be useful. Jerry McDaniel explores this theme in Soft Landings: Spiritual Wisdom Book 1, in which he advocates a new look at life to align mind, body, and spirit that together constitute our home and sanctuary. We are in a constant state of evolution, as can be observed by comparing the older with the newer you. Much of our pain is self-inflicted, and we should learn from past mistakes to allow for softer landings. Everything in the universe is made up of energy. Portals are opening up to new dimensions of consciousness, providing windows on a new world. An open mind is needed, plus a warning to protect yourself from negative energy. Other topics include injustice, near-death experiences, conforming to societal norms and expectations, anger, confrontation, conflict, and expectation. Readers should be realistic, avoiding external influences and the trap of conformity associated with fundamentalist religion. It is best to use your inner guidance to align with the Universe. Discover your soul purpose, ignore the false self, and instead reconnect with your higher self. To do this, we can connect with enlightened beings such as spirit guides and the masters.

Jerry McDaniel is an author, clairvoyant, psychic medium, and spiritual teacher. In writing Soft Landings, he invites readers to take spiritual stock, find their paths, and help others to do the same. There is a growing movement toward spiritual awakening, although the awakening process can be testing, and following a spiritual path requires commitment. The author points out that aids to transformation, such as astrology, numerology, and spiritual books, are now readily available. In addition, mediumship and divination in the form of the tarot have become accepted by the mainstream. What the author refers to as 'old souls' are rediscovering their spiritual gifts, with some becoming healers and empaths, bringing serenity to any situation. I really enjoyed the chapter on mindfulness, which is particularly relevant, as well as the notes on understanding karma and the afterlife. This is an enthralling and inspirational work that captures the spiritual path in a way that has wide appeal. It avoids technical jargon and explains spiritual concepts in readily understandable language that is warm, authentic, and will open doors for those who heed the message. It is highly recommended.

According to Jerry McDaniel, to unite with the divine, the body, mind, and spirit must be in harmony. Jerry had a 35-year-long career in sales and account management, traveling extensively throughout the southern United States. Now, he is a clairvoyant, psychic medium, and an inspirational speaker. In Soft Landings, Jerry offers readers valuable insights into humanity's relationship with spirituality. He encourages readers to learn to love unconditionally. One of the chapters touches upon the subject of near-death experiences as perceived through a scientific lens. The author also delves into the complicated relationship between science and spirituality. It's a proven fact that prayers help negate negative energies around us. Jerry also emphasizes the importance of acknowledging one's past pain, treating everyone with kindness, practicing mindfulness, and avoiding the sense of victimhood.

One of the core themes in Soft Landings is spirituality. In this modern, fast-paced world, with hectic lifestyles increasing stress and anxiety levels all over, this book is a breath of fresh air. I found Jerry McDaniel's observations about human nature and spirituality to be spot-on. The author has a very engaging way of sharing his thoughts and ideas, and touches upon some fundamental truths about life that will appeal to a broad range of readers. His views on near-death experiences are something that I personally found very poignant. The chapter about the relationship between science and spirituality was also very interesting. This book is a treasure trove of spiritual wisdom and practical knowledge. If you're feeling overwhelmed by the sheer pressure of modern life, I can't recommend this book highly enough.
