Molly and the Magic Suitcase: Molly Goes to Sydney (Volume 8) by Chris Oler is a delightful story of discovering Sydney, where young readers are taken on an exciting trip with Molly and her brother Michael. Molly and Michael take their magic suitcase and always travel to new destinations. In this story, the children go to Sydney and get to know more about the place, the Sydney Opera House, the vibrant beach culture, Luna Park, the amazing wildlife there and the culture, custom and food habits. It's an educational experience for young readers as they learn about a new place and all the important things related to that particular place.
The book gives readers a lot of information about Sydney. They realize that though the culture and customs are different, people everywhere in the world do have a lot in common. The illustrations are bright and colorful and they capture the author's thoughts and ideas with clarity. They also breathe life and movement into the scenes and characters. It's an excellent bedtime story book and parents and grandparents can read it out to their kids and grandkids. It can also be used for read aloud sessions in classrooms and school libraries. The book will make readers want to travel and see new destinations.
Molly and Michael will enchant readers with their travels. By now readers have traveled to many interesting destinations with Molly and Michael, widening their outlook about the cultures, customs, food and people of many countries.
