Monsterland Above is the fourth book in the Monsterland series by Michael Okon. In the finale, Vincent Konrad is back, and he is more dangerous than ever before. Now that he has joined forces with the mysterious Gray aliens known as the Aerians, the fate of Earth is even more in danger. To make matters worse, Keisha, Wyatt, Melvin, and Howard are all battling dangerous creatures and have no time to strategize. Times are tough as everyone wants to survive. Loyalties are tested, secrets are exposed, and each of our four heroes must face their inner demons before they can fight the ones they can see. With the barrier between the human and the monster world gone, does humanity stand any chance of survival? Can Keisha, Wyatt, Melvin, and Howard find a way to save the world? Or is it already too late?

Author Michael Okon knows how to draw readers in and make them feel like a part of his story. The worldbuilding is phenomenal, and the characters are simply brilliant. I loved to hate Vincent. I enjoyed his brand of evil and how he simply doesn’t hold back to express how much he enjoys the suffering of other people. Keisha, Wyatt, Melvin, and Howard are all incredible characters. They are determined to put an end to this nightmare and are even willing to make sacrifices that they weren’t before. I enjoyed Keisha’s fiery nature and Howard’s calm yet controlled leadership. This is more than just an apocalyptic story where monsters are real, and people are struggling to survive. I loved the themes of survival, fighting against the odds, and horror. This series has been an absolute thrill to read, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Vincent Konrad's Monsterland Park lies in ruins, just as his grand plan for global domination does, but all is not lost. He takes one last chance to claim what he believes is rightfully his, and this time, with help from his new alien friends, he might succeed. The only obstacle is Wyatt Baldwin and his growing group of allies. Having seen the destruction caused by the monsters and the plague, Wyatt knows that to survive this new threat, he and his friends must team up with the monsters. Can they unite for one last fight against the schemes of a madman, or will humanity fall to extraterrestrial overlords? Only time will tell in Michael Okon's Monsterland Above.

Monsterland Above is the final part of Michael Okon's Monsterland series. Consistent with the theme, classic pop culture monsters, such as werewolves and giants, dominate the narrative. Although this installment picks up seamlessly where the last one left off, the author subtly hints at key events from earlier events through the dialogue, providing background information while bringing readers up to speed on the larger plot. The dialogue also reveals Wyatt's friends worrying about how their peers will react to their new appearances and recent gifts, reflecting the real-world pressures young adults face daily. The narrative balances light humor, seen in the activities of giants and Sasquatches, with youthful romance highlighted by the growing connections among Wyatt's friends. What makes Monsterland Above stand out is how Okon smoothly blends elements of Christian creationism with Darwinian evolution, creating an intriguing narrative that appeals to fans of action, adventure, and horror.

Vincent Konrad, Monsterland’s architect, is back. Aboard an alien spaceship, he is preparing for Earth’s invasion by the Thalens, the aliens whose ship he is cruising in, believing he will have control over the invasion. Vincent is disappointed to discover, upon learning about the Thalens’ real plan for Earth, that he is being used. He also realizes that his pregnant daughter, Rosemary, is in grave danger. Now he intends to find his way back to Earth, secretly ally with the Sasquatch, and find Rosemary before she gives birth. However, on Earth, the newly elected President of the US is gearing up for a face-off with the looming threats by sea from the sea creature eggs and in the skies from the aliens. Will people on Earth survive what is coming their way? Find out in Monsterland Above by Michael Okon.

Lovers of sci-fi novels blended with horror, adventure, action, and fantasy will find Monsterland Above by Michael Okon an enthralling read. In this finale of the Monsterland saga, Okon unravels surprise revelations that add depth to the ensuing conflict. Both the heroes and villains grapple with choices that challenge and reveal the layers behind their characters. Even the evil Vincent displays the capacity for selflessness this time around. Okon maintains the signature apocalyptic world-building that marks this series, featuring a diverse cast that includes aliens, giants, werewolves, dragons, monsters, and more. The prose is dynamic, and the ante is upped for the drama and suspense. The story explores themes of loyalty, pain, loss, and family. I highly recommend reading the previous installments in this series to fully enjoy this book.

Monsterland Above by Michael Okon is a thrilling story set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans, giants, and creatures coexist amid mystery and danger. The plot follows a wide cast of characters, including Vincent Konrad, a complex figure caught in a web of alien alliances and betrayal, as well as young heroes like Howard, Keisha, and Wyatt, who face monstrous threats like gigantic octopuses and unknown alien forces. The story takes readers through tense battles, political intrigue, and emotional struggles, revealing a layered world with surprising twists. The world-building includes secretive alien factions, mysterious creatures like Sasquatch, and an underground network helping the characters survive and fight back.

Michael Okon’s writing is detailed and immersive, capturing both intense action and quiet character moments. The prose is vivid, and the pace is controlled, combining fast-moving scenes with thoughtful reflections on loyalty, survival, and identity. Character development is strong, showing growth and emotional depth, especially among the younger cast. The themes of trust, the fight against overwhelming odds, and the blending of the mythical and futuristic give the book a unique and compelling feel. The writing balances thrilling action scenes with quieter moments that explore the characters’ fears and hopes, creating a well-rounded read. I was drawn into the complex relationships and unexpected plot developments. Monsterland Above balances suspense and heart, making the novel both exciting and thoughtful. It is a gripping read for anyone who enjoys speculative fiction that combines adventure with character dynamics and inventive world-building.

In Michael Okon's Monsterland Above, readers are introduced to a world living in trauma and fear. Monsterland was once a place where terrifying, transformed creatures lived. Now that the park has collapsed, dangerous monsters are roaming free. The crooked scientist responsible for this disaster, Vincent Konrad, and his assistant Dreg are orbiting Earth on an alien ship. Konrad's plans for Earth are not finished yet. Back on Earth, a group of humans – Wyatt, Howard, Jade, Melvin, and Keisha – are trying to process everything that happened before, while coming to terms with their troubling realities. As they try to survive, new threats emerge. Various alien groups have their own secret plans for Earth. Can the humans find a clever and daring way to defeat Konrad once and for all?

Monsterland Above is a thrilling horror fantasy that blends monsters, giants, adventure, mad science, aliens, and a highly emotional story. Michael Okon's imagination and storytelling skills are the novel's strongest points. He conceives of fascinating ideas that seem wild yet fit naturally into the story. The intriguing character portrayals (including the perfect human, monster, and alien mash-up) make the book worth reading. I love how Wyatt and his friends have their own unique stories, challenges, and moments of self-discovery. This character development technique adds context to the story, especially for readers who have not read previous installments of the Monsterland series. Plus, the scenes are fast-paced and engaging, with a few surprises that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Overall, Monsterland Above is an exciting tale for readers who enjoy horror stories but also want something original.
