Mr. Green and Mr. Blue's Party at the Zoo by Perry Anderson is a fun children's book. The book is about two friends named Mr. Green and Mr. Blue. One day, the two friends decide to have a party at the zoo. News companies came with reporters and camera crews, hoping to broadcast the event. Animals broke free of their cages and came to join the party. Everyone had a great time. The sloth rode in the kangaroo's pouch and the lion said that the food was really good. Near the end of the party, Mr. Green and Mr. Blue decided that this was the best party they had ever thrown, and that they should throw another party. Where will they decide to have the next party?
I really enjoyed reading Mr. Green and Mr. Blue's Party at the Zoo by Perry Anderson. The book is very well written and it rhymes. The rhyming in this book is very well done, and gives the book rhythm, which children will enjoy. The book is a fun read, and I liked how it involves a huge variety of animals, like sloths, snakes, and penguins. The book has many scenes full of excitement. The pictures by Beth Dupree are very well drawn, and help to depict each scene. I liked the way that Mr. Green and Mr. Blue were drawn, and many of the animals are very adorable. Parents will enjoy reading this book to their child, and children will want to read it again and again. I would definitely recommend this book to all young readers.
