Mr. Tiddly Plonk Goes To The Zoo by Naomi O'Shea is a funny rhyming story that will bring a smile to the faces of children reading it. Mr. Tiddly Plonk was a cool guy with yellow hair and he was always looking for new things to do. This time he decided to go to the zoo and he had to take a train to get there. He reached there in time to watch the animal show and after that, he went to feed the penguins. He enjoyed watching the monkeys dance, which he thought was funky, and from there he went on to see the meerkats. After a while, Mr. Tiddly Plonk wanted to take a short nap and when he woke up, there was no one in the zoo. He started to scream and the zookeeper heard his cry and called for help from passers-by. Let's read the book and learn what happened next.
This cute rhyming book is fun and lighthearted and children will have fun going on an adventure with Mr. Tiddly Plonk. The illustrations by Gusnia Catherina add to the charm and appeal of the story and its characters. The story will take children to the zoo and they will see many animals along with Mr. Tiddly Plonk, and what a good way to teach them the names of the animals they do not know. The rhyming verses give a good pace and movement to the story, which can also prepare children for what to expect on a zoo trip. It is a good story to read out loud to children as it is a fun learning experience for them.
