My Gut by Ada J. Peters is a well-researched guide about the gut and beyond. Peters, a German-born Australian, shares her personal experience of dealing with multiple health issues related to the gastrointestinal tract. She offers the latest scientific findings to help those suffering from gastrointestinal symptoms so they may educate themselves about conditions like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO). This guide is for everyone whose daily life is affected by distressing symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, bloating, stomach pain, fatigue, constipation or diarrhea, food intolerances, skin problems, mental health issues, and more. It provides answers to these common digestive issues.

My Gut by Ada J. Peters is a helpful guide to overcoming certain digestive disorders. It provides an empowering new way of understanding your gut health, the basics of nutrition, and your symptoms to make the right choices to alleviate them. It is a total game-changer. Peters does a great job of cautioning about the diversity of approaches when managing IBS and SIBO and guides you toward a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle. She raises awareness about the connection between the polluted environment and our health problems. It contains a wealth of information about the digestive system, stress, the enteric nervous system, inflammation, plastic pollution, the immune system, leaky gut, dietary fiber, gluten, celiac disease, nutrition, diets, and treatments for SIBO and IBS, among many others. I would recommend it to anyone with a compromised digestive system. It will help you make the right lifestyle changes that will contribute to a lasting improvement in health.
