My Ten Little Bears by Charlotte Reynolds is a children's storybook. This book was originally written in 1978 and was illustrated with hand-drawn pictures. Today it has been re-illustrated and it lets you take a little peek into a day in the life of the ten little bears. Open the pages and count the ten bears, see them all in beautifully illustrated settings, and learn what a bear does to pass the time. The book was written as a second grade class project and then put away. Now, for the first time, children everywhere can enjoy this poetic and wonderfully colorful story of the ten little bears.
My Ten Little Bears by Charlotte Reynolds is a delightful book. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous, very well suited to the story and to the age group the book is aimed at. I liked the way the story itself was written in poetry; it makes it flow very well. This is the ideal book for children to learn how to count, how to read, and to look at some lovely colorful pictures. I think that many children’s books today are not really written with the intended age group in mind and, even though this was written as a class project and most likely wasn’t intended for publication, it is a perfect example of what children's books should be like. I loved it and I’m sure any child will as well. I can see this being one of those books that kids want read to them time and time again!
