Mysterious Ways: A Story of God's Grace in Life and Death by Melissa Levi Clark is a vivid imagery and story of real life on Earth through the hands of time. With a simple, gifted and honest language, far from the realm of fiction, the author narrates the journey of her story-teller father who never loses his hope and never gives in to the gloom of death, even though he was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer. Melissa's father has only six months to begin another journey. Embracing the reality of life and the other world, he spends more time with his cherished family, sharing love, tears and heaven on earth. Readers, along with Melissa, count down the final days of a veteran who fights for life with pleasure to the last moment.
Clark reminds us in her memoir, Mysterious Ways: A Story of God's Grace in Life and Death, no matter what religion practiced and path followed, human beings should not forget the realities of life and learn how to face them while unburdening both heart and soul. The simplicity of the story was striking and effective. Mysterious Ways: A Story of God's Grace in Life and Death is one of the most impressive memoirs I have ever read. Our time is running out. Do we take advantage of the seconds left or do we just give in to what destiny brings us? This book is a good read for all who are afraid of death and a light for all who believe in celebrating life.
