The book is about cross-pollination and exploration and the author speaks about his uncommon path into the world of food and beverages where there was nothing to teach him about restaurant analytics, no student organizations tailored to hospitality technology, networks where professionals would speak about hospitality compared to the other professions like engineering, medicine, and finance. The book shares the author's journey and how readers can cross-pollinate their lives and create their personal honey. It will encourage readers to explore the limitless possibilities created by society and realize their potential however deep and unique they are.

Ernesto Mandowsky shares good strategies and techniques with readers on how to make use of their skills, interests, and passion in a productive way and create successful and fulfilling lives for themselves. He weaves these along with sharing his life story and how he developed his confidence, competence, and charisma required to build himself up in the hospitality industry. The first half of the book is about cross-pollinating within environments, and the rest of the book speaks about what happens after leaving college and entering the real world. I liked the concept of the vision board that can be used to manifest wishes, and how through different experiences, nectar can be extracted and how these insights become the foundation of unique honey. The memoir is honest and straightforward and the author speaks about his journey in detail. NewBee: Cross-Pollinate Your Life, Create Your Future has been written in a very interesting way and the metaphor of bees and making honey has been woven well into the book.
