In No Cure for Love by Sandy Curtis, we meet Lani Campbell. She was seventeen years old when the love of her life left her behind and never turned back to see what had happened to her. Shattered and dejected, Lani picks up the broken pieces and tries to mend them. She had made a life for herself and she will not allow anything to break it again. But when Luke Tarrant walks back into her life, she is astounded to find out that the love she felt for him had never died.

Luke Tarrant was never given any answers as to why Lani left him. She never gave him an answer, but now after 11 years, he believes the time is right to get the answers he needs. He takes a job where Lani works, deciding that professional is the best approach to the situation. However, he soon realizes it cannot happen that way. The attraction between them is too hot and heavy to let go and ignore. When they are forced to share some alone time in an isolated cabin, things escalate from mild to scorching hot. But can their love survive a second chance?

Sandy Curtis wrote a short and sweet romance about a boy and a girl and a big messy pot of misunderstanding. This novel is the perfect example of how things can be perfect if couples communicate with each other. I think the novel was a little too hurried, but other than that it was a sweet romance to read.
