If you are looking for a gripping, fast-paced epic fantasy flavored with adventure, high-stakes action, mythical lore, suspense, jaw-dropping plot twists, and spellbinding cliffhangers, Oath Breaker by Brian Tripp is a must-read. Tripp introduces readers to an exciting, well-crafted cast in a multi-perspective storyline, revealing their personalities and emotions through lively, character-driven dialogue. I enjoyed the sarcasm edging the conversations, which lent humor to the prose. The cinematic depictions and the effortless flow of the chapters made reading feel like watching a dark fantasy Hollywood movie. Flawed heroes clash with seemingly invincible villains, with plot themes of sacrifice, betrayal, love, redemption, and more. Despite it being the third installment, Tripp gives enough context to make it a stand-alone read. I loved it, and can't wait for the other installments.
