Olivia Chatham ,wanna-be private eye, keeps one smiling and laughing with her quirky, loveable ways. Tucker Monroe is mystified by such an adorable woman…is she for real?

Tucker Monroe attends Olivia’s parents Christmas Party with Cheryl Meckenberg. Later that night she is found murdered. Olivia is determined to solve the murder—much to the dismay of the police department. Her best friend Josie Bookman, elegant and beautiful , pries information from Sheriff Eugene, and finds a great attraction to him.

As the clues to the murder evolve, so does the relationship between Olivia and Tucker.

Oblivious is sure to keep a smile on your face and possibly give you a laugh or two. It is refreshing to find a “clean” book of this quality. The characters are well-developed and likable. Oblivious  is like a “Snickers” candy bar; you enjoy reading it and wish there were more. Excellent reading! I look forward to the next installment.

Oblivious had one of the most wonderful characters in Olivia that I have run into in quite a while. While she could top Mrs. Malaprop and Rev. Spooner with her wacky vocabulary, she remained charming, funny, and moral. How refreshing! I recommend this book highly.

I won't go into a review of this book for others have already done so. I'll just reiterate that this was a delightful read; a book I couldn't put down until finished. This genre is definitely Ms. Depre's niche. Adding mystery and romance with humor, plus the homeiness of a small town, one is totally captivated. Having read this author's first book, "Amanda's Rib", I find Ms. Depre's writing only gets better. This is an author to watch... she is going places!

In Oblivious the charactors become like good friends who you'd like to come sit with you on your front porch and have a tall glass of lemonade. Or maybe a white wine with plenty of marichino cherries. Although Livvy is capable of spinning the head around on a marble statue with her somewhat convoluted crime solver methods, once you begin to appreciate her, she starts to make perfect sense.

Livvy is fiercely protective of the people she loves...which includes practically everyone in town and they feel the same way about her. Livvy will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. One minute you will laugh out loud at her antics and the next, you will end up misty eyed, only to split a gut laughing again.

I hope this isn't the last we hear of Livvy!!!

A very fun, fast read. Absolutely could not put it down. At first I thought I would grow tired of how naive Olivia is, but it just makes her more charming. And I love how the townspeople protect her feelings about her "secret" good deeds. Just an overall great book!

Livy isn't one to take no for an answer and when Tucker Monroe and the police specifically say they don't need any help, well, what girl would listen? The murder of a college professor has the small town reeling, and Livy's nutty brain working overtime. Can she unravel the mystery so she can lay claim to Tucker's heart or will the murderer strike again making Livy his or her next victim? Livy is sweet, nutty, intelligent and belly-howling funny. The town is so charming, I'd move there next week if it were real. The book is a fast read and will leaving you asking just one question -- When will Ms. Depre grace us with the next installment? Please write more and FAST! A real winner!
