His journey leads him through a dangerous underworld, where he encounters the ferrywoman, Demeres, who helps guide souls to the island of Caelum, believed to embody beauty and peace. Theo’s desperate quest to find his parents amplifies the themes of loss and grief as he learns the true nature of life after death. He must traverse the dangerous waters and endure the watchful gaze of death, but can he find his parents and bring them home as the stakes heighten?
