Being a founder of a startup is not easy. Ksenia Yudina founded the fintech company UNest, which at one point reached a market valuation of $120 million before the Silicon Valley Bank crash led to its downfall. In One Venture, Ten MBAs, Yudina shares her startup anecdotes and offers keen insights to help aspiring entrepreneurs and startup founders find their own version of success. A great idea doesn't mean much without follow-through and execution. Yudina goes into detail about what creating a product actually entails and provides valuable lessons for building your own MVP. The author also explains the different phases of startup funding, how the approaches of angels and VCs differ in investing, the key areas of due diligence, the rules of fundraising, the importance of pivot, growth and scalability, and more.

Any emerging startup founder should read One Venture, Ten MBAs: A Warrior Guide to Building Startups. In this book, Ksenia Yudina reveals her own startup journey and covers the foundational steps and challenges she and her team had to undergo during her stint with UNest. The author's personal experiences not only lend credence to her observations in the startup world of Silicon Valley but also make her story relatable to all those founders and aspiring entrepreneurs who have faced similar hurdles along the way. Fintech has made a deep impact on the lives of many, and I'm no exception. This is why Ksenia Yudina's life story was fascinating to me, and overall, I found the guide very informative and illuminating. If you have just ventured into the world of startups, this book will help you prepare yourself for the long road ahead.
